General conditions for registration

• You will receive confirmation of your registration for the examinations by e-mail. You will be given at least 15 days' notice of the location of the examinations and the times of the individual tests. The Speaking test may be held on a different date from the one set for the written tests: it will be held in a time window of between 7 days before and 7 days after the date on which the written tests are held. Once notified by the Examination Centre, it cannot be changed.

• Registrations are personal and may not be transferred to other candidates under any circumstances.

• Registrations are valid only for the exam session indicated on the registration form: once a reservation has been made for a specific exam in a specific session, candidates cannot request a change.

• On the days when the examinations are held, candidates must present valid photo ID to the staff in charge, otherwise they will be excluded from the examinations and will lose the examination fee paid.

• The correction and assessment of the individual tests are carried out by Cambridge Assessment English staff, who guarantee standards of quality and objectivity. The results are then communicated to the Examination Centre. Once released, they are final and indisputable.

Candidates from state, state-run and public schools

General conditions of enrolment

State, semi-public and public schools may register groups of candidates by providing a list of pupils on headed paper by the deadline. This list must contain the names, surnames, dates of birth and gender of each candidate. These schools will be able to take advantage of preferential rates which can be consulted on this site.

After an examination session in collaboration with our Authorised Examination Centre, the CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH ASSESSMENT PREPARATION CENTRE logo and certificate will be provided.
